Background for the Series
The Education Series was inspired by exceptional work occurring in the Kansas City Metropolitan area and other regions in Kansas and Missouri; educational conferences on best practices, workshops on equity in education, data-driven projects to promote awareness and advocacy, and social justice movements in schools. The Education Summit 2020: Systems Change and its Virtual Extension are the next step in achieving a more effective and equitable education for each student in Kansas and Missouri. The series unites academia, legislators, businesses, and the community to work collaboratively for better results in education. Join us.
